Every year before Christmas, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture organizes Christmas Market where students are given opportunity to present and sell their designs. In 2017 I have participated with my laser-cut wooden teapot candle holders. The idea for the design was a delicate and romantic representation of dandelion flowers. The challenge included a creation of lightweight and subtle form made out of thin layer of plywood. The effect was achieved and candle holder looked fragile like dandelion, but could easily support the candle and sustain the heat from the fire.
